Security Professional

As a Security Professional, your main responsibility is to keep everyone that enters or leaves The SPOTT Night Club safe.

Part-time: $20 / hour (10-15 hours per week)

Reports to: Club Owner, or designated Security Lead

Job Description duties include:

Providing security to night club patrons throughout the facility and outer parking lots
Screening customers upon entry at the metal detector, if placed as the main door guard, and ensuring that all who enter are clear of any dangers
Providing backup for the Front Desk Manager as needed
Providing parking lot coverage and security, without regard to weather, and directing traffic as the lots fill up
Providing back up for other security personnel, as needed
Being a highly visible deterrent to prevent unwanted or illegal activity before it starts, or escalates out of control, and displaying a presence throughout the facility, where assigned that night
Providing coverage and collecting entry fee from customers at the gate
Miscellaneous duties as requested

Hours: Saturday nights from 7:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Sunday.

Requirements: Must be 21+ years of age to apply.

Preferred Skills: First aid trained, customer service experience, remaining and showing professionalism at all times

Commercial Cleaning Crew

We are looking for a thorough and trustworthy crew that can come in and clean the club either on Sunday morning/afternoon or Monday morning/afternoon.

Part-time: $20 / hour / crew member (10 - 15 hours per week)

Location: 2111 Television Pl, Kansas City, MO 64126

Reports to: Club Management

Scope of Work:

The building is approximately 5,600 sq. ft., and consists of a lobby area with carpeting, and several rooms off from the lobby, also carpeted (6 rooms). The rooms do not have windows, so they would consist of trash pickup, vacuuming, and wiping down TVs, mirrors, walls, and furniture. Past the lobby, all other area is non-carpeted. There is a hallway, 2 bathrooms (the women's consisting of 4 toilets, the men's 1 toilet, both have a sink area), and a urinal room. At the end of the hallway is the Main Hall, which consists of the dance floor and the common area where the majority of guests congregate on any given Saturday night. This room is the majority of the space and will require table cleaning (table tops, chairs wiped down), general pickup/cleaning, floors mopped, mirrors / wall hangings cleaned. There is a balcony right off from this room that will need to be vacuumed, with more tables/chairs to be wiped down. There are fountain soda machines that would need spills attended to and counters that will need washing and disinfecting. There is a doorway leading outside to the deck area, where the pool is located. The deck will require general pickup, table and chairs cleaned/organized, and we have 5 gazebos that will require clean up and furniture put away. Finally, there is an enclosed tunnel that our guests use as an indoor smoking area, and it would require vacuuming, pickup, tables and chairs, furniture organization, and overall cleaning/maintenance. Parking lots will also require trash pickup, and collected trash will be taken to a dumpster near the front of the property. View the Virtual Tour for layout and details.

All cleaning supplies / equipment/mops / brooms / sprays / tools etc. that are needed to complete this job each week will be supplied, and it is preferred that a crew does not bring their own.

Hours: Sunday or Mondays each week from 5:30 a.m. - completion (can be split into both days)

Possessing knowledge of club protocol with the ability to articulate to patrons any questions they might have during the course of an event
Providing front desk coverage and assisting front desk manager as needed
Being a point of contact for security and other staff
Providing customer service in a fast-paced environment
Monitoring and providing authority for seating structure and ensuring the appropriate seating arrangement is followed
Miscellaneous duties as requested

The SPOTT Night Club is looking for a House DJ that can make the place jump!

Part-time: Negotiable (10-15 hours per week)

Reports to: Club Management

Job Description duties include:

Possesses knowledge of the freshest beats and artists most popular with dance style clubs
Possesses knowledge of how to use soundboards and turntables (all equipment provided)
Administers incoming Jamm Text messages for display
Provides music at events
Develops playlists
Interacts with customers at parties
Takes requests
Creates promotions
Miscellaneous duties as requested

Hours: Saturday nights from 7:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Sunday.

Requirements: Must be 21+ years of age to apply.

Preferred Skills: Detail-oriented, Outgoing, experience with Newmark NS7iii mixing console and Virtual DJ is helpful but not required, Customer Service experience
